Shapes Menu

Create a Circle

First, select the Circle option from the shapes menu. Then, click-and-drag anywhere on the map to start drawing the shape. This will begin drawing a circle, centered at the point where you started.

When using a grid, the circle will instead be centered at the closest intersection of the grid squares to your cursor. This is great for creating effects centered on a specific point.

Create a Rectangle

First, select the Rectangle option from the shapes menu. Then, click-and-drag anywhere on the map to start drawing the shape. This will begin drawing a rectangle, with a corner at the point where you started.

When using a grid, the rectangle will automatically cover the entirety of the grid squares you mouse-over.

Create a Triangle/Cone

First, select the Triangle option from the shapes menu. Then, click-and-drag anywhere on the map to start drawing the shape. This will begin drawing a triangle, with its origin angle at the point where you started.

When using a grid, the triangle's origin point will automatically snap to the closest intersection of the grid squares to your cursor.

Got the location of your shape wrong? You can move the entire Area of Effect shape by switching to the Select tool and clicking-and-dragging on its surface area.

Delete a Shape

To delete a single shape, right-click or click-and-hold it while using the Select tool to open up the shape's actions, and press Delete.

To delete all the shapes on the battle map, you can click the Clear All button on the shapes menu (GM-only).
